Attorney General Bob McDonnell today asked a task force to look at reducing excessive and burdensome regulations in Virginia.
The Government and Regulatory Reform Task Force meeting featured 63 new recommendations.
McDonnell directed the group to move forward on setting guidelines for state agencies to increase opportunity for public comment.
The attorney general also endorsed a proposal to simply the way small and minority-owned businesses are registered with the state.
